This historic 90% silver half dollar commemorated the 150th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Fought on April 19, 1775, they marked the start of the American Revolution. The obverse shows a statue of a Concord Minute Man and the denomination PATRIOT HALF DOLLAR. The reverse depicts the Old Belfry at Lexington above 1776-1925.
