Lincoln Bicentennial Cent (2009)

In 2009, the U.S. Mint released four special one-year-only cents in dual tribute to the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth and the 100^th anniversary of the Lincoln cent. Each cent bears Victor D. Brenner’s original obverse design, while four separate reverse designs depict four major stages of Lincoln’s life: Birth and Early Childhood; Formative Years; Professional Life; and Presidency.
