A genuine 350-353 AD Magnentius, Roman Empire Centenionalis Coin, Two Victories Reverse, Amiens, graded and certified CH AU* by NGC. Copper composition. Magnentius became emperor of the West in A.D. 350, controlling Gaul, Britain and Spain. Although he was willing to share the empire with Constantius II, hostilities broke out. Magnentius was defeated and committed suicide in A.D. 353. Minted in Amiens, this coin was part of the Bridgnorth Shropshire Hoard found in England in 2007.
