This 7-coin set contains one proof quality example of every denomination released for circulation that year, along with an exclusive, selectively colored $1 coin struck in 99.99% pure silver. This special edition $1 coin features an engraved depiction of a member of the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service and two members of the Royal Canadian Navy standing on the foredeck of a Tribal-class destroyer. The obverse features the effigy of King George VI by T. H. Paget and a Victory privy mark. Each coin has been expertly stuck in proof quality by the Royal Canadian Mint, and comes complete in special book-style packaging, along with a certificate of authenticity.
