The Chippewa refer to themselves as Anishinaabe, which means "original people," and used birch bark to craft canoes, wigwams and utensils. The reverse features the North Dakota Eagle. Struck in 1 oz. of 99.9% pure silver to the highest Proof standards, each coin displays detailed, frosted images handsomely contrasting with brilliant mirrorlike backgrounds.
