This 2004 PDS set includes 3 Westward Journey Jefferson nickels, all with the Keelboat reverse, including a 2004 P graded MS 67, a 2004 D graded MS66, and a proof 2004 S graded PR69DCAM. All 3 coins have have been graded and certified by PCGS.
This coin is the second of four issues in the Westward Journey nickel series honoring the bicentennial of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis & Clark expedition. Its one-year-only design bears a special reverse depicting the keelboat designed by Capt. Lewis for the expedition.
