The coin has been mounted in a bezel and attached to a red, white, and blue lanyard so it can worn around the neck like a medal. Comes with the original outer box and a certificate of authenticity, but no other original packaging.
When the U.S. hosted the XV FIFA World Cup playoff, the U.S. Mint struck this commemorative half dollar. It bears Richard T. LaRoche's obverse design depicting a soccer player in action and the large date 1994. The reverse by Dean McMullen shows the official World Cup USA 1994 logo between two laurel branches.
