Description
A genuine 1987 D/D RPM 3, FS-501 Lincoln Memorial Cent Penny Coin, graded and certified MS 67 RD by ANACS. This coin was graded before the RPM 3 was given the official Cherry Pickers code of FS-501, which is why the code is not displayed on the slab.
The Lincoln cent was redesigned in 1959 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. The obverse continued to depict Lincoln's portrait, while Frank Gasparro's new reverse depicted the Lincoln Memorial.
