A genuine 1943/2 P FS-101 Jefferson Wartime Silver Nickel Coin, graded and certified VF 30 by ANACS. Contains 35% Silver

 

Unlike traditional Jefferson nickels, this historic coin was struck in a special alloy of 35% silver to save nickel for the World War II effort. Like all silver wartime nickels, it bears a larger mint mark on the reverse above Monticello's dome.
