The Liberty Seated twenty-cent piece was the shortest-lived U.S. coin denomination. This century-old, 90% silver coin depicts 13 stars around Liberty, who sits on a rock with a Union Shield and a Liberty cap on a pole. The reverse shows an eagle with an olive branch and three arrows. Encircling the reverse are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and TWENTY CENTS.
