The obverse by Robert Lamb shows a banner inscribed USO with IN GOD WE TRUST and 50TH ANNIVERSARY above and LIBERTY and 1991 below. The reverse by John Mercanti depicts an eagle, with ribbon inscribed USO, atop the earth with 11 stars beneath.
