Description
The 2015 America the Beautiful Quarters Circulating Coin Set from the U.S. Mint includes 10 circulating quarters, five from the Philadelphia Mint and five from the Denver Mint, with reverse designs honoring Homestead National Monument of America (Neb.), Kisatchie National Forest (La.), Blue Ridge Parkway (N.C.), Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge (Del.), and Saratoga National Historical Park (N.Y.). The coins are held in a durable plastic card that features a picturesque image and a brief description of each site and coin. The packaging allows the coins to be easily removed and placed in albums or other collecting tools. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the back of the card.
The National Park quarters series honors a national park or historic site in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories. Each coin bears John Flanagan's modified Washington portrait obverse and a special reverse design representing the featured site.
