This 3 piece Carson City Collection contains three private issue Morgan commemorative coins, with the CC mint mark, dated 1886-2015, 1887-2015, and 1888-2015. These were struck in 2015 at the old U.S. Mint Carson City facility - now the Carson City Nevada State Museum - to honor the coins that never were, as the Carson City Mint was temporarily closed between 1886 through 1888. Struck to the same specifications as the original Morgan dollars, each coin has been certified and graded as Gem Deep Proof-Like by NGC.
