2007 Austria 50th Anniversary Treaty of Rome 2 Euro Uncirculated Coin

A genuine 2007 50th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome 2 Euro Coin, in Uncirculated Mint State Condition. This bimetallic coin is composed of a nickel center inside a copper-nickel ring. It weighs 8.5 grams and has a diameter of 25.75 mm. The coin shows the Treaty document signed on 25 March 1957 by the six founding countries on a background evoking the paving of the Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome. The Treaty of Rome established the European Economic Community and ultimately led to the introduction of the euro in 1999 and the euro banknotes and coins in 2002.
