This 1872-1972 Official National Parks Centennial Medal Series Collection contains 36 silver medals commemorating the National Parks Centennial, featuring designs honoring Yellowstone through to Isle Royale. The set was produced by Roche Jaune, Inc of Kalispell, Montanna, and struck by Medallic Art Company of New York. The original designs and sculpture was done by Frank Hagel, a prominent Western artist, of Kalispell. The medals are split into two display volumes and come with a green leatherette slipcase. Each medal is struck in high relief .999 pure sliver.
