Designed by Charles E. Barber, this 90% silver Liberty Head quarter (or Barber quarter) depicts Liberty wearing a laurel wreath and Phrygian cap with a band inscribed LIBERTY. The reverse bears an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States.
