Description
This 9 coin set contains consecutively dated Indian Head cents from 1900-1908, all in affordable AG About Good condition. Over 100 years old, these coins were struck in Philadelphia during the series' final decade, and feature Liberty in a headdress, honoring our Native American heritage.
The composition of Indian Head cents was changed to bronze during 1864, and a slightly sharper Indian Head portrait was created near the end of 1864 that included designer James B. Longacre's initial L on the lower ribbon behind the neck.
