Description
This 2 coin set contains both the Philadelphia and Denver Mint issues of the 2009 Native American Dollar, both in Uncirculated Mint State Condition. The one-year-only reverse celebrates major agricultural contributions by Native Americans and depicts a young woman planting vegetable seeds.
This historic Native American dollar is from America’s third “golden dollar” series. Its obverse depicts Lewis & Clark’s guide Sacagawea and her infant son, Jean Baptiste. The one-year-only reverse honors Native Americans and their contributions. Inscribed along the edge are the date of issue, mint mark and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
These sets are assembled from uncirculated coins from rolls and bags straight from the U.S. Mint. Coins may display bag marks, minor abrasions caused by contact between pieces during minting and while stored in a mint bag.
