Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, this 90% silver Liberty Walking half dollar is one of America's most beautiful coins. The obverse shows Liberty with arm outstretched, striding towards the dawn of a new day. The reverse depicts an eagle on a rocky crag, where a pine branch grows to symbolize strength.
