A genuine 69-79 AD Vespasian, Roman Empire, Silver Denarius Ancient Roman Imperial Coin, in XF EF Extremely Fine Condition. Silver composition
Roman Emperor Vespasian was most famous for building the Flavian Amphitheater, also known as the Colosseum. Like many of the Roman emperors, Vespasian rose in prominence because of his military skills and work ethics. Following his ten-year rule, he left behind a record of restored order, stability, and good government. He was succeeded by his son Titus in A.D. 79, who had been sent to quell the Jewish revolt of 66-70 A.D.
