Description

This fractional set from the Royal Canadian Mint features five 99.99% pure silver coins, ranging from 1 oz to 1/20 oz, distinguished by a maple-themed design that reflects the shift from late summer into peak autumn. The 1 oz coin puts those colors on full display, with leaves transitioning from green to red with a vivid toning effect and a foil-like finish. The luminous effect of the contrasting colors highlight the transition between seasons, resulting in a simple, recognizable snapshot of autumn in Canada. The reverse designs by Canadian artist Nathalie Lagace depict a pair of sugar maple (Acer saccharum) leaves in early fall, their lobes gently overlapping in the center, and their stems crossing below. Each obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. All five coins feature a reverse proof finish and come packaged inside a black clamshell case and beauty box, along with a certificate of authenticity.
