This 2026 W American Silver Eagle Enhanced Uncirculated coin celebrates the 250th anniversary of our Nation's founding with a limited-edition release! The coin bears the '1776 - 2026' dual date, and a unique Liberty Bell privy mark with the numeral '250.' The reverse proof finish is combination of laser-frosted areas and an unpolished field that accentuates design details. The process creates a unique contrast distinctly different from the mirror-like finish of proof coins. Contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and comes with the original government packaging, including a certificate of authenticity.
Minted since 1986, these coins were updated in 2021 with a refreshed obverse (heads) and a completely redesigned reverse (tails) to mark the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program. The obverse features a refreshed depiction of Adolph A. Weinman's full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag. The designers initials 'AW' were also added to the obverse of the coin. The redesigned reverse depicts an eagle as it prepares to land, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest.
