Description
A set of two unopened, U.S. Mint wrapped rolls of 2026 Semiquincentennial Jefferson Nickels. One roll of 40 coins was issued from the Philadelphia Mint, and the another from the Denver Mint. Released to celebrate the USA's 250th birthday, each coin features the 1776-2026 dual date, and comes in Uncirculated Mint State Condition and Copper-Nickel composition. The outside packaging of each roll features a scene from the signing of the Declaration of Independence, along with the dual dating, denomination and mint mark.
Following the Westward Journey series, the U.S. Mint restored the traditional Monticello reverse. However, a new, forward-facing portrait by Jamie Franki graced the obverse - along with the word LIBERTY in script based on Jefferson's handwriting.
