A genuine 2024 American Eagle Dollar Coin, graded and certified MS 70 by NGC. This coin was minted at U.S. Mint West Point facility and features the 'W' mint mark on the reverse, along with a burnished finish, however neither in stated on the NGC label. Contains 1 oz 0.999 Silver. First Day of Issue.
Minted since 1986, these coins were updated in 2021 with a refreshed obverse (heads) and a completely redesigned reverse (tails) to mark the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program. The obverse features a refreshed depiction of Adolph A. Weinman's full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag. The designers initials 'AW' were also added to the obverse of the coin. The redesigned reverse depicts an eagle as it prepares to land, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest.
