The 2014 Herbert Hoover American Presidency $1 Coin Cover includes two circulating quality Herbert Hoover Presidential $1 Coins from the first day of mintage at the United States MintFeb. 19, 2014, for the United States Mint at Philadelphia and Feb. 5, 2014, for the United States Mint at Denver. The coins are mounted on a display card, which is placed inside an envelope bearing A Flag for All Seasons (Forever) stamp. The cover also features a portrait of President Hoover and the postmark "July 10, 2014, West Branch, IA," the date the United States Mint issued the Herbert Hoover $1 Coin Cover.
Presidential dollars honor America's presidents in order of service. Each obverse depicts the featured president, while the reverse shows the Statue of Liberty and the denomination $1. Edge inscriptions bear each coin's date, mint mark and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
