The 2014 Herbert Hoover American Presidency $1 Coin Cover includes two circulating quality Herbert Hoover Presidential $1 Coins from the first day of mintage at the United States Mint - Feb. 19, 2014, for the United States Mint at Philadelphia and Feb. 5, 2014, for the United States Mint at Denver. The coins are mounted on a display card, which is placed inside an envelope bearing A Flag for All Seasons (Forever) stamp. The cover also features a portrait of President Hoover and the postmark "July 10, 2014, West Branch, IA," the date the United States Mint issued the Herbert Hoover $1 Coin Cover.
Presidential dollars honor America's presidents in order of service. Each obverse depicts the featured president, while the reverse shows the Statue of Liberty and the denomination $1. Edge inscriptions bear each coin's date, mint mark and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
