Description
This 112 coin set includes all 56 individual designs from the U.S. Mint's National Park Quarters program, which begun in 2010 with Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas, and ended in 2021 with Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site in Alabama. Two uncirculated issues of each design are included, one from the Philadelphia Mint and the other from the Denver mint, both housed together inside an informational bi-fold holder. All 56 sets come packaged within a green Profile Coins & Collectibles branded box. This is a great gift for a new collector, or an experienced collector looking to collect a new coin type.
The National Park quarters series honors a national park or historic site in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories. Each coin bears John Flanagan's modified Washington portrait obverse and a special reverse design representing the featured site.
These sets are assembled from uncirculated coins from original ballistic bags or rolls straight from the U.S. Mint. Coins may display bag marks, minor abrasions and imperfections caused by contact between pieces during the minting process, or while stored and transported inside a mint bag.
