This 3 Pence coin from Ireland, also known as a Half Reul, features a Seated Hare on the reverse, and a Irish Harp, or Clirseach, on the obverse. The coin was minted at the Royal Mint starting from 1928, and ceased to be legal tender after decimalization on 31 December 1971. Composed of copper-nickel, it measures 17.7 mm in diameter and weighs 3.24 grams.
