Description

A genuine 1913 $5 Indian Head Gold Half Eagle Coin, graded and certified MS 64 by PCGS. Contains 90% Gold

This gold Indian Head half eagle is one of America's most unique coins. It has no raised edge and features an incuse design - all elements are sunken into the surface. Its obverse shows a proud Native American chief surrounded by 13 stars, LIBERTY and the year of issue. The reverse depicts an American eagle perched on a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. Surrounding the eagle are the inscriptions E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and FIVE DOLLARS.
