A genuine 1888 O Morgan Dollar Coin, graded and certified MS 63 by NGC. Contains 90% Silver. The Fitzgerald Collection, also referred to as Fitzgerald's Nevada Club Reno Hoard, was a collection of casino chips, silver coins and collectibles which had been stored in a warehouse in Reno, Nevada. The entire hoard was purchased by notable California coin dealer Ron Gillio. Named for casino owner Lincoln Fitzgerald, it included over 100,000 American silver dollars and masses of gambling paraphernalia.
This large 90% silver Morgan dollar bears George T. Morgan's classic depiction of Liberty facing left in a Phrygian cap and a spray of leaves held by a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY. The reverse features an eagle clutching a branch and three arrows.
