This century-old, 90% silver Liberty Seated half dime is from the final series before the denomination was retired. Its obverse depicts Liberty seated on a rock holding a Union Shield and a Liberty cap atop a pole. The reverse bears HALF DIME surrounded by a laurel wreath and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
