This historic silver dollar commemorates the XXV Olympiad. The obverse, by John R. Deecken, depicts a baseball pitcher in action similar to baseball great Nolan Ryan’s 1991 Fleer baseball card photo. Marcel Jovine’s reverse design features the Olympic rings and usa above a patriotic shield and two olive branches.
