A genuine 1870 Nickel Three Cent Piece Coin, in VF Very Fine Condition

 

Struck over 130 years ago, this nickel three-cent piece bears James B. Longacre’s classic design. It depicts Liberty in a diadem inscribed LIBERTY, her long hair in an intricate braid. The reverse bears the Roman numeral III inside by a laurel wreath.
