A genuine 1991 D Korean War Memorial Commemorative Silver Dollar Coin, in BU Choice Uncirculated Mint State Condition. Contains 90% Silver. Coin only. No original mint packaging or certificate of authenticity

 

This historic silver dollar commemorates the 38th anniversary of the Korean War’s end. Sold in part to raise funds for a national monument in Washington, its obverse by John Mercanti shows an Army infantryman in full gear climbing a hill, with aircraft flying above and naval ships shown below. The reverse by James Ferrell shows North and South Korea divided at the 38th parallel, as well as an eagle and the Yin-Yang symbol.
